2nd Annual Benton Stephens Garden Potluck

Saturday, April 19 • Meal @ 1 p.m.
Lions-Stephens Park Shelter (Park closest to William and Windsor)

Everyone is invited, even if you have no desire to garden! It will be a great opportunity to enjoy the Spring day, meet neighbors, and learn more of the great events that are happening in our Neighborhood. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please invite your friends and neighbors.

Also, it would be great if people can help bring plates, eating utensils, and plastic cups to the Potluck. Last year, we managed to minimize our waste by not using disposable items; we also composted napkins and food scraps! This could not have been possible without the help of neighbors.

The Next Benton-Stephens News

Our wonderful neighborhood beat reporters, Lauren Fredman and Danielle Karstens, will be sending the next Benton-Stephens news via e-mail on April 11. If you have news or stories, contact them at Lauren or e-mail Danielle.

Day of Caring

April 17

Memorial Baptist Church is planning a Day of Caring on Saturday morning, April 17, for our neighborhood. They plan to go door to door with small work teams saying “Hi” and asking if there are any small odd jobs we might do, such as raking leaves, picking up trash, trimming or whatever could be done in a short time by a small crew of 3 or 4. Contact the church, phone 443-1408 or e-mail.
